New Irish Business Forum

Building inbound links to your website is one of the hardest processes when trying to promote your business on the internet.

There is no one easy simple place to go and find where all these possible links are, this is one of the reason why this part of search engine optimisation is expensive.  Your SEO consultant should be able to be out there on the net finding good links for you all day – and it takes a special kind of person who can sit and do this all day.  This is perhaps one of the reasons why so many link building company get out of the business as quickly as possible and build their own websites.

As a result of the Enterprise Ireland ebusiness forum the Irish Business Forums has allowed any Irish business to use the forums to promote their website.  This is a must for anyone in Ireland who has a website.

Take the time though and write something lenghy about your website and business.  I have been looking through the forums and some contributors are doing well with their promotion and some not so.  The ones that are doing well are using the anchor text correctly and writing an article or post about their company that is more than 250 words – Google loves text, so give it good text.

I suggest you take half an hour out today and get over there and write something interesting about you and your business – take note of the sticky thread on the forum that gives advice on how to use keywords.

I look forward to this forum becoming a real resource for Irish businesses in the future.

  1. Leslie, it’s great to hear the news of yet another avenue for Irish businesses to come together and share their knowledge. In saying that, we’ve gotten quite a few posts into the O2 IdeasRoom about Irish business and it might be another worthwhile avenue for those in this industry.

    Thanks for the posting…
