Irish Webmasters Forum is a good place to start if you are looking for information on building your own web site or you have decided to learn online marketing.
The forum is targeted at all web designers and SEO’ers, however most who use the forum are working in the Irish market. There are great professional designers who will give helpful advice, and (IMHO) the best SEO’ers in the Irish market. So if you want to get a handle on some information it is an easy place to start.
I often think it is a good idea that anyone employing me to do search engine optimisation on their behalf have some knowledge of the processes and concept – it certainly makes my job easier when I talk to someone who understands some of what SEO entails. More often than not taking on a new job also includes educating the client on SEO, what happens, how long it takes, and why he should bother. Though I must say the last one is less relevant as most clients find me than the other way around.
So if you want to get more information or ask some questions without getting into talks with a business try out the forum.

Hello
I’ve just registered at the forum. This is my first message.
Please don’t become angry about me.
Thank you.
I have registered, too. I’m not from Ireland, but I’m curious about learning some useful SEO rules to apply to web sites, other than Irish ones. Cheers!
