Yes, a brave step I think. My other half is hugely patient and tolerant of my love affair with online marketing. I have heard little complaints – and yes I do listen. However we are off together to Rome for a while, and i have made the brave decision not to take a computer with me – hard as that may be. Every other holiday we have had that little laptop bag travels with us everywhere.
One problem that I have taking a holiday from my computer is the amount of work that I come back to. But that is why they call it a holiday. However I am running a couple of Search Engine Marketing Campaigns at present and I like to look at the ongoing stats, just to see if anything need to be changed.
Once back it will be back into the fray. My design skills are under-going an update, it is not an area that I am great at. We all have our fortes, mine is search marketing for Irish Companies.
I put together small sites for small businesses at very reasonable prices, but specialise in the search engine optimisation – a new area at present – but one that I believe everyone will know about during the next few years.
